Rhonda L. Lanford received her undergraduate degrees in political science and French, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1988, where she was a member of the political science and French honor societies, and was recipient of the Freshman Honor Scholarship. She received her juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1996, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Wisconsin Law Review, and a member of the Moot Court Board. She received the Ruth B. Doyle Award for Outstanding Service to the Law School Community, as well as the George Laikin Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Wisconsin Law Review for her article King v. Village of Waunakee: Redefining Establishment Clause Jurisprudence in Wisconsin, 1996 Wis. L. Rev. 185.

Ms. Lanford is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers (Chair of the Membership Committee, 2001-present, and Amicus Brief Writing Committee, 1999-present), the American Association for Justice, and Inns of Court, James E. Doyle, Jr. Chapter. She teaches negotiations and trial advocacy at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and also coaches mock trial. She is a co-author of Wisconsin Civil Procedure Before Trial, published by the State Bar of Wisconsin. Ms. Lanford is a shareholder at Habush Habush   Rottier and practices in the Madison office.
