Jim Jansen grew up in Milwaukee and worked his way through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee before moving to Madison to attend law school. He and his wife Betsy have lived in Madison ever since. Betsy is a kindergarten teacher and now that their own kids have gone off to college, Jim and Betsy are both enjoying their work more and more. Jim handles a wide range of personal injury cases including those arising from motor vehicle accidents, product defects, medical malpractice, contractor negligence, pharmacy errors and nursing home neglect. Jim has tried many cases in courts all across Wisconsin. The National Board of Trial Advocacy has certified him as a Civil Trial Specialist and he has been invited to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates and fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers
